Skiers, snowboarders and freeriders appreciate the perfect location, the perfectly groomed slopes and the legendary après-ski in Saalbach Hinterglemm, which is definitely a “landmark” in Austria's tourist landscape in the winter. But even in summer the valley impresses with breathtaking mountain scenery and wonderful landscape. Over 400 km of hiking trails are available and if you want to take it a little faster, get on your mountain bike and use the enormous network of trails in Austria's largest bike region. Summer in Saalbach Hinterglemm offers a surprising variety of opportunities for hikers, bikers and families - and it is precisely this diversity that is to be highlighted even more in Austria's most casual valley and conceptually worked out.
One valley, 5 mountains, many facets!
The guest should be offered everything on five differently oriented mountains during the vacation in the mountains:
• comprehensive offers for all family members!
• short distance to the experience
• a compressed offer - everything out of one hand!
• and a high quality & quantity of the offers.
With a view to real mountain experiences, the individual mountains - Schattberg, Westgipfel, Zwölferkogel, Reiterkogel and Kohlmais - were analyzed and evaluated accordingly: what is the effect of the mountain, how is its panorama, what is its appearance or does the mountain have cultural significance? If you then evaluate these points, each individual mountain gets its own profile or character.
Based on the analyzes, the offers of the mountains were integrated into five experience specializations, i.e. basic orientations, based on their potential:
• Adventure
• Family
• Enjoyment
• Art and culture
• Panorama & nature experience
Following these measures, the Team Input started the next stage in the creative process and developed authentic & individual experience offers and highlights for each individual mountain.
The result was:
• an individual basic orientation for each mountain
• an individual characterization for each mountain
• an individual positioning for each mountain
• and individually developed and authentic experience offers for every mountain
The next step is to implement the planned offers. For this purpose, the developed concepts are deepened and expanded. Correlating to this, an individual cost and a five-year implementation plan is drawn up before the best manufacturers are searched for the implementation.
